I bought a new Mac Pro Quad Core with 8 gigs of ram a few days ago. I want to install Windows on my computer.

Should install Windows Vista, 7, XP??? How many gigs should I partition if I'm using it for just MSOffice and Adobe After Effects???

I am also downloading Windows via torrent. Do I just burn it to a DVD and install it. Any tutorials would be great. Thanks

Go for Vista or Windows 7. You have a beast of a machine, there is ZERO reason to run XP. Windows 7 is still a beta of course, so it's got its quirks, but overall it's very fast and stable. Vista is very fast and stable, and is also an excellent choice. Whatever you do, get the 64-bit version. Pretty much every application runs fine on 64-bit versions of Vista/Windows7 (same thing).

Discussing torrent are kinda against forum rules. ;)

Sorry about that....I wasnt sure if it was or not.

Do you think 75-100 gig partion is good for Adobe After Effects/MS Office/Windows Apps????
