I'm creating a movie in iMovie 09 using a "talking head" segment with a second video clip showing in the corner using picture in picture. I want to have the picture in picture clip then zoom to fill the whole screen and take over from the talking head. Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it? Thanks.

I haven't tried the PinP thing yet (next project) though I saw it demo'd at MWSF. From what I saw I think it doesn't do what you want directly.

There might be some work arounds. Isn't there a zoom feature? You could partly zoom in on the small picture then cut to the full frame. Alternatively, you could take a screen shot of the PinP frame and a screen shot of the first full frame and create a short morph between the two. If it went by in a half second or so that should work.

There is a tutorial on the Apple iMovie website - explains exactly how to do it.
