Convert .ecm files... [PCSX]

I have PCSX for Mac and want to play a few games, but the ones I really love have an ugly .ecm filetype. Does anyone know of a converter for these types of files?

You're in luck!

I know of one! The catch is, if you don't have admin access, you can't use it. If you do, download the attachment. If you dont, just play your games off the actual game disk. PCSX will actually do that!

Oops!

I forgot to tell you that to open it, you need to change the extension to .SIT and open it with StuffIt Expander... do you have that?

I know exactly what you are going through. What an absolutely idiotic idea to preserve them with this useless .ecm crap.
THey even admit it has no purpose because Windows and OS X easily can deal with the compressed image file without this ecm junk.
