I was thinking of adding a second HD to let iMovie and Photoshop use. The main reason being to try and keep my main HD clean. I know that both apps can generate a lot of "trash" and I dont wan't to get my main drive too fragged. Alos, I know that a second drive will help the performance of photoshop.

Now, what kind should I get - SATA or FireWire?

Also, if anyone has brands that they like or dislike that would be good info.

Thanks,
Doug

i'm guessing that since you mentioned SATA you have a G5
an internal SATA will be much faster less clutter than a FW one even a FW800 will probably also cost less with SATA
