Hi I have a white macbook 2008 can you replace the keyboard with the new illuminated keyboard?

How much effort are you willing to put in? Probably not as much as needed as it is a very frustrating job!

Wouldn't it be easier to buy the topcase for the 2.4 for iFixit and place it on the 2.0 macbook? They have the same electrical connections, no?

I actually checked this out the other day, the top portion is either $299 or $399. And for that price you might as well just by the 2.4 model for the speedbump and extra HDD space.
