Lazy PG4 battery

Hi, I ve a brand new PG4 15" 1.25 Mghs with Panther 10.2.3 and the battery never last more than 2 hours (using a word processor). I downloaded the battery update that was released in December but it has made things even worst.
Any ideas of what may be causing this and how to solve it?
