Powerbook battery vs. MacbookPro (late 08)

Um...sell the macbook pro and buy a powerbook? 
I don't know if this will make a difference, but have you tried calibrating the battery on the new machine? Turning off bluetooth, dimming the screen, and turning off wi-fi might make a difference as well.
