Contacts-Like App?

Hello,

I've been attempting to learn how to create an application through http://www.cocoalab.com/?q=becomeanxcoder but I'm still lost.

I wanted to create a contacts-like app where there were a ton of terms listed in alphabetical order that you could tap on to read more.

Am I working from the right place? Is there something else I need to read?
