Anyone using Xnap? I'm having troubles

I'm trying to use Xnap for the first time and things aren't working smoothly. The client seems to be running fine (I can search for files and they appear in the window) but when I go to download a file, nothing happens. I get a "connecting" message for all eternity or else it just retries and retries and retries. I'm using 10.1.5 and do have Norton Personal Firewall running. Any ideas? Thanks
 
try putting the firewall down and the connect. if it works, check your access history in norton for the ports that its using. you'll probably want to open those ports
 
I can't stand that app, I would go with limewire for MP3s, Carracho for some MP3s but mostly files, and community 🙂
