Getting Ready to Order 2.66GHz Quad or 2.66GHz Octo Which One ?

Getting ready to order a new Mac Pro, I don't know which one to get 2.66GHz Quad or 2.66GHz Octo. What do you guys think ?

Dose anybody have the 2.66GHz Octo ?
 
quad + WiFi card + 15" MBP + $AirPort Extreme = Octo

get the Quad and go o holidays with the change 😉 ... or get all of the above and build a fort with the boxes 🙂
 
depends what you are doing with it really

edit - that's quite a strange choice, given one is almost twice the price of the other. What about the 2.26 octad?
 
If the money doesn't matter, and your choice is the same speed quad or octo, get the octo. No downside there.

How can anyone possibly give you advice without knowing what you plan to do with it and/or your budget sensitivity?

Given the information provided, why wouldn't you choose the Octo?! 🙄

Reading his question I´ve got the impression that budget sensitivity is not of interest at all 😀
Wish I could say this from me. Lot of things would be easier to decide 😉

Estimated right? Than go for the 2.93 8-core...
