Best place to get RAM for a G5?

I should be able to order my Powermac soon, and was just wanting to know the best place to get memory for one of these machines.

Does the RAM in the G5's have to be matched pairs?

I use LifeTime memory, it has a lifetime warrenty, so if you do get a dud they will replace it for free, and yes G5 memory must be in pairs, if you want 512 RAM u get 2 sticks of 256.

www.crucial.com. The _best_ place to get memory. This is probably whats in your Powermac already.

the cheapest place or the best? Not all RAM is of the same quality. You can find powerbook 512MB chips for $90, but a no name company may make bad RAM. Paying the extra $15 for Crucial RAM (lifetime guarantee) is worth it to me.

We use CDW for all our businees buys but I like to choose for my home computer (don't have the unlimited credit limits on the Visa like my boss), like going here and comparison shop. But as far as RAM goes I like "Viking"

Cool, thanks everybody.

When I was a PC user, I used to always use Crucial when I built machines.

I always got it from www.newegg.com - anyways, thanks for the tip.

You probably don't need more input . . .but I'd say go to Crucial, make your life easy.
