mail app help :D please!!

hi there i have a little problem with my macbook mail app 😀

before i was able to just click on the messaje and on the bottom half of mail app is will appear but know i hace to double click and it wil apear on a new windows i dont like this format how can i change it back like it was before

The preview window is probably hidden. In that window near the bottom, there should be a bar with a small circle in the middle. You should be able to click and drag that bar up and will reveal the preview window.
 
It happens. You might have double-clicked it without knowing and that will make the bar/preview window instantly hide.
