In a word: No

Take a look at the following reviews:
http://www.anandtech.com/mobile/showdoc.html?i=1866&p=10
Here, the Radeon Mobility 9600 is being compared to a Geforce FX Go5650 - which is a good deal faster than the Go5200 found in the 12" Powerbooks. As you can see, the Radeon completly destroys the Geforce.

Now look here:
http://www.anandtech.com/mobile/showdoc.html?i=1957&p=7
The new Radeon Mobility 9700 is a good 30% faster than the older 9600.

That pretty much means the Geforce 5200 is dismal compared to the Radeon in the 15" and 17" Powerbooks.

ouch!! and the 5200 is worse than that card??

thats pathetic... really makes the 15inchers look more appealing..

i wish it was possible to but the better cards int eh 12 inches...

well the 12' inch models with their "pathetic" res don't really need the higher end cards. with 1024x768 max, the'll handle games just fine.
