I have a Powerbook and an old Wintel notebook. The Wintel box has no CD burner or firewire but both computers have USB and are sharing a cable connection (wirelesly).

I need to transfer files from the Wintel Machine to the Mac. How can I do this? Can I network them with a cable through the USB ports or get the Mac to recognize the Wintel machine and share files that way?

Any ideas.

What OSes are the two comp's running?

You can network recent 0S X versions and Windows. Check out this thread to see how to network 10.3 with Win 2k, XP & 2003.
