Re-attach iPod

is there anyway, after i've ejected my iPod, to get it back onto the desktop (as a firewire disk) without unplugging and repluggin the firewire cable?

open up DIsk Utility in your /Applications/Utilities folder and then you'll see your ipod. just select it then click on the mount button and you'll be sweet!

or you can launch iTunes

excellent...i knew about the iTunes method but for some reason it only worked half the time for me.
