Question for T-Mobile iPhone users who want to upgrade to Next Gen iPhone in summer

Im currently with tmobile using an iphone 3g, and im one of those techy guys who wants the latest tech

just wondering how are you guys going about to get the new iphone?

are you going to sell your 3g before the new iphone comes out and get the most of its value or wait until the the dev team gets a software unlock out?

what are you going to do? and does the dev. team usually take half a year to unlock it? because i think thats how long it took for them to release yellowsn0w

Luckily my Tmobile plan will be up come July so I am officially going to switch over to AT&T and get the new iPhone. I am sure I will still jailbreak it, but it will be nice to not have to worry about unlocking it. Plus, I hate the fact that the iPhone has 3G capabilities, but I'm still using Tmobiles data plan. It's WAY cheaper, which is good but I want to have the 3G experience.
Also, I don't have a 3G iPhone as of right now. I'm still running the 2G.
