Hi, I got a strange message today.

I've got iMac with latest her of iTunes and iPhone 3g with up to date firmware shock has been synced with the iMac multiple times.

Today when I pluged the iPhone in, rather than syncing, when iTunes opened and I opened the phone Fromm the list of devices on the left the spinning rather than opening with the usual tab selections there was just a large very box with the word in a large font: "congradulations, you have successfully unlocked your iphone."

I clicked ok and iTunes then opened as normal.

What's this about?

iPhones in New Zealand are unlocked - maybe this is what yours was doing? 😕

Since when? As far as I know they are locked to Vodafone. And I've had the phone since a week after 3 g was released and never got this message before.
