when i use my windows vista 32bit on my unibody macbook pro, the sound doenst work at all, and there is a red light shining thru the head phone jack, what do i do?

Had that happen to me once, either reinstall off the Leopard DVD (if you have the late-2008 MacBook) or download the latest Boot Camp (2.1) drivers from the Apple downloads page.

i have the unibody..late 2008

do i pop in the disk while im on my MAC OS X or while im on my windows?

What I suggest is that you uninstall your audio drivers, and install it seperately using the .exe found in the CD.

Btw this should be in Windows on Mac

lol can u give me step by step instructions of that?

Sure thing go to control panel>programs or w/e.

Then click on uninstall program.

Then choose realtek audio drivers

Uninstall.

Reboot computer.

Insert macintosh driver CD into cd tray

When that box comes up if you want to install, press cancel/no.

Go to My Computer > that cd drive (right click, explore)

Go into the folders and it'll have the audio drivers in there in a folder.

lol yeah i actually knew how to do tht/ just did it befor eyou posted it, i read what you said before wrong but thanks man that worked and now i got sounds
