Unhappy Having processing issues Making beats in Fruitloops on A MacBook

So I just bought my first Mac. An Intel core 2 duo , 2 gb ddr3, 160 gb hdd
2.0ghz.......However, I am now experiencing audio issues when I make an instrumental in boot camp(vista home premium) inside of Fruityloops 8 XXL. The problem I am getting is my cpu is maxing out, a get clicking and popping, and then the sound db meter maximizes and I can't get anything to happen except closing the program. If a wait for a little bit or hit the stop button, The program returns to normal state but when I start the beat back up, the same issue arises preventing me from moving forward. Has anyone use Fruityloops 8 XXL in Bootcamp and had thi issue or one similar to it? Oh, I have changed the latency and it does NOT help. Thanks

Hmm I can use it fine on my White Macbook 2.4 GHz 2GB RAM with XP Pro...Maybe it's a Vista issue?
