I have a customer that had been running an Xserve with 10.2. It's basically on fire. He's not willing to go to the new Xserve until a formal electronic medical records system is rolled out.
But since it's in such bad condition, he bought a Mac Mini and a 10.5 Server license. The Mini will be 8x faster than his old 1 GHz G3.
Anyway, he has users in a workgroup configuration on the 10.2 box, and I have not figured out the method I should use to add the 10.5 to the workgroup so that it can then take over control of the user shares and such.
Does anybody have some experience in this kind of thing?
