I've ripped some Blu Ray discs and converted them to MP4 format for syncing with my ATV but a few of them aren't syncing, even after I've "told" ATV to sync.

Any clues as to why?

PS - I'm just trying to stream the videos, not actually sync them to the device.

Most likely iTunes has determined your ATV isn't capable of playing the file... open it up in QT player and use movie inspector to see what the bitrate is... I'm going to guess it's up around 6k or higher... or you didn't downconvert your resolution to 1280x720p from the 1920x1080p original m2ts file...

ugacdawg is correct. But more simply put, some blue rays are 720p and others 1080p. You can convert both to mp4, but the :apple:TV will not play the 1080p ones. I have the same problem.... :(
