I'm doing a report on digital music distribution systems and I'm looking for some info on Apple's system. Thanks for any info anybody might have!

iTunes really isn't a separate subsidary yet, so you would be hard pressed trying to get a figure. According to this, Apple Computer employs 10,912. It could be out of date, though.

Yeah, 'yet' is right. CNN was reporting today that Disney's deal was an exclusive with iTunes. No mention of Apple at all.

Of course I frikkin' hate CNN (excepting Lou Dobbs and Aaron Brown) but then again I'm too cheap to buy Fox News and you get what you pay for.

yet?

so if you say iTunes isnt a seperate Subsidary "yet," does that mean you think it will be later? i was thinking about this yesterday after i saw this subject, but i didnt think that would work very well. 😕

I ll take CNN in a heartbeat over FOX. FOX news is really not an example of objective, balanced and unbiased journalism.

No US news program can stand up to BBC news.

sorry, but i cant stand the BBC. maybe its cuz im not british. they seem to report strangely and not accurately, but it could just be me.

FOX News Channel Rocks, with the exception of 50% of what Bill O'Reilly says. I mean the man dislikes gangster rap, and porn. I can see the former, but the latter is basicly the entire reason for faster internet, bigger storage devices, and the only reason Yahoo! isn't bankrupt.

is this based on the **** you hear on Fox News?
Cuz Fox News is well known for being so freakin biased, asinine and inane that its a completely moot point to argue about the validity of their "news".
All that comes out of their mouth are LIES, LIES and MORE LIES, plus a little speculation and even more lies on the side.
The BBC is unbeilevably excellent when it comes to news coverage. Hands down. Forget anything here in the US, the BBC will be better.

And the award for thread going WILDLY off-topic goes to.......

Seriously though, who would count as iTunes employees? Programmers? Who else would you count on the list? I'd imagine the iTunes development team couldn't be much larger than 15 or 20 people.
