As it's well known, new unibody MacBook's headphones socket accepts iPhone-standard headhones with microphone and button, and deals with them exactly in the same way as iPhone do you can speak into microphone and you can use the button to start/pause iTunes (in fact, Spotify works as well).
The question is: have anybody seen the splitter to connect regular external microphone via this socket? I've got Griffin's iMic, but it's at home, connected to my iMac, and sometimes I just want to connect external mic to my MacBook. Anybody heard anything about it?
