As it's well known, new unibody MacBook's headphones socket accepts iPhone-standard headhones with microphone and button, and deals with them exactly in the same way as iPhone do – you can speak into microphone and you can use the button to start/pause iTunes (in fact, Spotify works as well).

The question is: have anybody seen the splitter to connect regular external microphone via this socket? I've got Griffin's iMic, but it's at home, connected to my iMac, and sometimes I just want to connect external mic to my MacBook. Anybody heard anything about it?
