Hi,
I have a 17" Macbook Pro that I use as a desktop at the moment. I currently run it in dual screen mode with the native display and a generic 20" display out of the native DVI port on the laptop. I am wanting to connect it up to my HD TV, to play movies and TV shows. I am not a fan of unplugging and plugging things in as needed, I would much rather everything was just plugged in and ready to go. SO...here's my question, I am looking for a USB to DVI Graphics/Video card that is Mac compatible and that has been tested by members here.
I have seen the ViBook, and it looks great but I'm not sure I can justify spending £120 on an adapter. Are there any good adapters out there for less £££?
I like the look of the Gefen USB to DVI Adapter (which is half the price of the ViBook), has anyone used this and can you comment on it?
Are there any other USB Graphics/Video cards that you might recommend?
Many thanks for any input,
Nigel
