N NStocks macrumors 68000 Original poster May 1, 2009 #1 I was in the network preferences a while back to try and get network sharing on. ergdegdeg Moderator emeritus May 1, 2009 #3 Press and hold CMD and drag the icon off the menu bar. IIRC, it's some kind of network connection.

O OrangesOfCourse macrumors member May 1, 2009 #8 that is the PPPoE service... in Network pref > Ethernet > Configure Box > Select Create PPPoE Service. Under the PPPoE service you will see a check box to add the icon to the menu bar. 🙂 Attachments pppoe.jpg 58.7 KB · Views: 123
