Does anybody know what speed the HD in the current (120GB) iPod Classic runs at? I have heard that it is a 4200 RPM Drive that is de-rated to 3600 RPM.
If this is true, is the de-rating a hardware block or a software block?
Is it possible to up-rate it to 4200 RPM?
