Is there anyway to increase the sensitivity of the wheel an ipod classic?

I noticed that from my 5th gen to the ipod classic the sensitivity seemed to go down and now I can't adjust the volume through my jeans but before I used to be able to with no problem with the 5th gen ipod.

I don't think there is a way to change the sensitivity. A lot of people have made the same observation about the classic's sensitivity. I bought a neoprene cover for mine and had to cut out the wheel cover because the classic's wheel just isn't sensitive enough.

I too have had issues with the low sensitivity of the wheel on the classic. I have had to remove the wheel portion of a full body skin I purchased to protect it...
