I just got an iPhone and I had the sales rep at the store transfer my contacts over from my old phone. Now that I have finished adding my Exchange account to the iPhone I would like to have all of my contacts synced via exchange. I went through my iPhone contacts and Outlook contacts and removed duplicates but now I have contacts on my iPhone that don't exist in Outlook. I thought they would automatically get created in Outlook since they were on my phone but that doesn't seem to be the case.

When I go into "settings...Mail, Contacts, Calendars...Import SIM Contacts" all the contacts that I deleted that were duplicates reappear. How do I get rid of the duplicates for good? and how do I get the contacts to sync both ways (to the iphone from Outlook and to Outlook from the iphone)

I did some searches in the forums but didn't find anything that answered this question.

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.
