This has no relation at all but I saw last night on the live stream of the KROQ Weenie Roast TRV$DJAM were using either the older model of the MBP or the Unibody MBP as the main computer in the setup.

I'm pretty sure they don't use iBook's for dj'ing, I usually see macbook pro's, seldom do I see even macbooks.. I guess its possible tho

Most DJs Ive seen either use MBPs or late model PowerBook G4s (the 12" models seem most popular).

Most DJ's that I know use macbooks. Ive never seen anybody on the circuit with an ibook.

Personally, I use serato scratch live on a 2.4ghz unibody. The 13 inch is perfect as I can fit the laptop in my record box.

merci beacoup people for your rapid response..

and glad that there are some musicians out there..

as for my research so far..

i am wanting to buy torq exponent..as it uses alot of the features i need..

example/.

1-laptop dj-ing

2-has a soundcard/mixer setup

3-has the fx pad for progressive mixing wheni advance further..

so anymore people wanting to join in the discussions and give me advice that would be great..

mac-loving you all
