Kindle 2: How to Convert PDF to Kindle format?

I was wondering if you guys knew a good software for Mac to convert PDF and Word to Kindle 2 format.
I have used Stanza but it didn't work well, the text was all messed up when transfered to my Kindle.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am now using calibre

http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/

It's much better than Stanza but I'm still wishing for native PDF support on Kindle, perhaps Kindle DX will save the day!!!
