What 15inch LCD to buy?

Hey all,

I'm in need a of a 15inch LCD. I know Apple doesn't make their 15 incher anymore. I don't have enough money for the 17 inch studio display. What are some good 15 inch LCDs out there?

sony makes some really nice displays but they'll probably cost too much
samsung is okay, dell displays are pretty good too and relatively cheap

A Dell display on a Mac? Won't they kick you out of the club for that?

What kind of price range were you looking for? Knowing that the Apple 17" is too much for you ($700)... there may easily be other brands' 17" monitors that aren't.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 152t that is an awesome monitor. I'm buying a 15" PB soon though, so I'm selling it.

I have a 17" Albatron LCD monitor that I got from newegg for only $350.
It is a great monitor, too bad newegg dosen't sell it anymore 🙁

Just look around, there are plenty of good LCD's that aren't too expensive. but I would look at getting at least a 17" unless 1024x768 is all the screen space that you want.
