TC/TM help

So, I'm finally ready to do my TM backup to my TC. Figured I'd let it run over night, as I've got everything set up perfectly, and don't feel like messing with the direct transfer through ethernet. So, with that out of the way, I have a few Garage Band and Numbers files that I have physically saved to the TC because I need them accessible from either of my Macs in the the house. Anyway, when I set up my TM backup tonight when I get home, will it delete my Numbers and Garage Band files? I want to be able to set up my TM backups for my iMac on the TC, but there are still files that I will physically save e.g like my Numbers and Garage Band files that I need to access from my MB from time to time which sometimes will be modified and updated on the TC. Can I do this? Do my TM backups on the TC for the iMac while still be able to physically save files onto the TC from either my MB or iMac

Yes, you can store a TM backup and other files on the TC at the same time.
