That's cool.
I must say that I'm a bit embarrassed in that I've never seen that model in the flesh, per se. Personally I have a PowerBook 170. Just never seen that version. Time to poke around the old stores in Akihabara and see what I can find.

I've just recently bought a 12" PowerBook G4...which rocks!
But my dream machine would be an Intel version of the same model. MBA doesn't slice it...I want a "Desktop Class" notebook with a 12" screen!

[QUOTE=WardC;8222727]Right now...these are what I am *really* trying to find:
• LPGA Japan edition PowerBook 170 • PowerBook 550c Japan model • Clear case Mac Portable M5120 •*Clear case Mac SE **all of these are special edition, ultra-rare, I've included photos below. It would be awesome to pick one of these up on eBay. Here you go man.... ![]()

Now is a great time to pick up a Cube. I got mine this summer for only $100 shipped with speakers, power supply, and Airport card. I already had a 17" Studio LCD and black KB/Mouse so I've got the full blown setup now. It wasn't more than 2 years ago this would have gone for $350 on eBay.

As far as Mac's that I would put on display:
Apple I 128K Mac Lisa Apple //gs (my very first computer) Macintosh SE/30 Macintosh Classic PowerBook Duo Dock (my first notebook -- never did have the actual dock though ) 20th Anniversary Macintosh As far as computers I might have has toys: Power Macintosh G3 Xserve Power Macintosh G5 And then what I actually want now: 13 inch 2.53Ghz MacBook Pro (to use as every day notebook) 8-Core MacPro (for Desktop) Reality: I will likely get 2.26Ghz 13inch MBP in the next year or so (unless they change the base model which is likely). As for a MacPro, I will likely get a Quad-Core base model at some point in time. Likely will get a couple of nice Dell or Samsung monitors for it.

Always wanted a PowerMac 7100 signed by the late Carl Sagan with either 'Carl Sagan' or 'Butt-Head Astronomer'.
![]() I don't think he'd have ever consented to signing one, but that's still the Mac I always dreamed of. ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notable...ith_Carl_Sagan |

I would love a G4. For some reason they remind me of the Pixar lamp. Now after seeing pictures of the cube, I wouldn't mind having one
