XP and OSX Networked. Now how to limit access.

Hi All,

Finally got my 'Dell Mini 10 XP Home' machine to see my Mac Mini OSX 10.5.7's files and vice-versa. Took a while!

In 'Sharing' (on the Mac) I've only checked two folders to share, yet when I connect to the Mac from XP, all my folders are available!!

What am I doing wrong here? I just want to share my music and documents and I want everything off invisible.

When you are connecting to your mac you are entering your mac account name and password so of course you have access to all the files in that account.

Thanks. Makes perfect sense!

So, the only way around this would be to create another account?
