Hey, I want to get an iSight but nobody else I know has an apple computer or an isight..so would they still be able to see me even if I cant see them? Would there even be any point in buying it then?

yeah they can see you if they don't have an isight.

When i first got mine, I had few people to video chat with, but I could always send one way video ;)

Not if they have Windows. AIM on the PC doesn't support one-way chat. Though any $20 webcam will work on the PC, you'll see ****ty views of your friends but your friends will see good images of you. My parents just got DSL and it is really cool.
