iPod touch 16gb refurb or new 8gb?

This is a question for my friend. I have the 8gb. He uses like 1.5 gb on music and video. 16gb apple refurb or new 8gb?
 
are the prices similar?

I got a 16 gb refurb awhile back and have had NO problems. I have a lot of apps, a little music and quite a few movies... 7 or so.

I would have already used the 8gb, and am very glad i got the 16 gb. They both have the same warranty new or used, my touch was flawless cosmetically. I say go for the 16gb
 
Go with the refurb. They are treated like brand new at the Apple Store. They come with the same warranty. There is no reason to get the 8GB. Think of all the music videos he will be able to carry around.. 🙂
 
You would enjoy the extra storage by getting the refurbished 16GB. If I ever get an iPhone, it will be a refurb... because you are basically getting a new iPhone. I would still go with the black one though (I'm not a big fan of the white version 😀 )
