macOS Problem with NSMenuItem

Hello,
I have two problems with NSMenuItem.
1.I am not able to change the states of Menu Item On/Off Automatically. I don't understand why its happening? I have disabled "Auto Enable items" as well.

2. I made a test Application before. Here i am able to change states Automatically, but when MenuItem state is ON , on printing that state it gives me value 0 and if it's OFF it's giving me state 1. So, is it the behavior of NSMenuItem.
