Thats real gold, you can get the apple logo encrusted in diamonds as well. Ill find the link to the place that does it and post it up here. just give me a cpl seconds.

I remember seeing something awhile back where a scientist had his aluminum PowerBook gold-plated to prevent corrosion...something about the environment that he had to work in could be damaging to laptops?? :confused: Don't remember. But anyway, it actually looks ugly gold-plated IMHO. :cool:
 
i'd pay to have a new unibody anodized black. i so dislike silver computers, but i tolerate it
 
i think that's pretty ugly... why would you spend over 3k on a gold computer that doesn't add any functionality...
 
I think they look really nice actually. Maybe not the gold, it looks nice, and if I had the money I might do it but I think if I were going to purchase one, it would most likely be an anodized one.
