ok, SERIOUSLY - how do i get the '#' sign on my mac?

Seeing the pound thread reminded me. (though the pound sign is clearly labeled on my keyboard) . But how do i get the '#" sign? (i copy and pasted that from a music page) I have a british layout keboard. cheers (and in all seriousness)

The moderator answered your question in the last thread by linking you to a thread with the answer.

aka, try Key Caps or Option-3 (which is the easiest method).

no need to get tetchy - i just thought the other thread was about the £ sign, but thankyou - now i can use

[alt] + '3' = '#'

Yes they're in the same spot, just flipped on US and British Keyboard layouts.
