No Garage Band update for me. I'm still on GB '08, and version 4.1.2
Maybe this is only for GB '09?

Just as a heads up, it will likely make some of the offered artist lessons dissapear. Fortunate Son, Fragile, Message in a Bottle will be gone...

As a heads up, anyone that uses any IK Multimedia Amplitube app, do not install this update, you will get a hissing noise that not only comes through on playback, but also when exporting, do not install the update.

of course it's slow. what do you expect when you compare it to something like Logic which is ~500$

Actually no he might have a point, when I installed GB5, it was hideously slow compared to 4, as in barely useable, alot of jittering when playing, very VERY unresponsive, I did begin to start working with Logic but when Apple released the 5.0.1 update that fixed it a bit, 5.0.2 pretty much solved it, but then it broke compatibility with Amplitube, can't win
