Im planning to buy the mac update promo but the problem is I already own notebook and its registered to me. Would I be able to sell my serial number from the promo or the version I got already on ebay or something like that

Duff-Man says... you should check with the developer of that specific application to see if a license transfer is allowed. In *most* cases it is not a problem but there are some programs where a license transfer is not allowed. Some developers may have a document they'd like you to fill out, some may not ever notice or care what happens to your license. With the MacUpdate bundles there are sometimes special rules for the licenses as well with respect to future upgrades etc etc.....oh yeah!

Is he referring to an application (i.e. "app") or the Apple Care Protection Plan ("APP")?
