A BIGTIME Iphone greeting problem!!!!

Hopefully, ya'll can answer my question.

So here it is, and its a killer. This weekend I was hanging out with Peter Cullen who is the voice actor for Optimus Prime and MANY other voice works. And I asked him if he can do my greeting on my Iphone G3 as Optimus. Now Ive currently have a custom greeting (which is pretty funny) on my phone for over 1 year now.

he said his greeting into my phone. It was AWESOME!!!!!! However, it didnt work. I played it back and was still my original custom freaking greeting. We then tried again and it STILL didnt work. We tried it a THIRD time and STILL didnt work!!!!! Finally on the 4th freaking try it WORKED!!!!! He then had to go. I was so freaking excited and happy!!

So I had my buddy, who was there with me, call my phone so we can both here it. and guess what, STILL MY ORIGINAL F*&#^&K GREETING!!!!!

I was DEVASTATED!!!

so here's my question. Is it in my phone somewhere saved? Is there someone I can take my phone to and they can somehow dig it out?

First off, I'd like to point out that it is the iPhone 3G

, and what do you mean by "greeting" are you talking about a ringtone?

The greeting like this- This is what i recorded into my phone "This is James' phone, this is Opitmus Prime, please leave a message after the tone"

That took after the 4th try. However, when you call my phone the original welcome greeting that i put on there comes on

so if I brought my phone into the Apple store, is there a way they can dig out the recording and apply it? What do ya'll think?

I doubt they would do that, but it can't hurt to ask. Don't get your hopes up though.

yo Jmann, the comment earlier was that the Iphone sucks? and that this shouldnt surprise me?

I don't see that reply. I'm guessing it got deleted. Other phone users are just "jealous".

Who cares what others think, as long as YOU like the phone.

Well, just made my appointment for Apple store to see if they can dig out that recording. And RIGHT after I will then go get my phone JAILBROKE!!!!
