WWDC 2009 Spoiler Free Keynote Stream

Apple will kick off WWDC 2009 with a keynote address on June 8th, 2009. News sites across the web will cover every announcement in detail, while Apple's site will be updated with any new products announced.

Some readers prefer watching the keynote themselves without knowing the outcome. Unfortunately, there is no live video feed for the keynote. Instead, Apple will likely post a recorded QuickTime stream a few hours after the keynote ends.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with the link to the Macworld Keynote once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

What a great idea. Although I am sure it will be hard to dodge all the news no matter what site I am on.

I always end up reading the live coverage because I can't resist, and then watching the video when I get home from work hours later. Despite knowing what's announced before watching the video, I always find watching the presentation a lot more compelling. Somehow still pics and text don't do the keynotes justice, especially when it's a Stevenote, which hopefully we'll have another of by the end of June.

June 10th? I think you mean June 8th... at the very least, make the story and the countdown agree

Be careful about your email!

Apple has been sending out some emails regarding the announcements today, and I almost read too much... I managed to stop my eyes before they saw the next word, thankfully.

Note to self: don't look or check anything that could have any connection with Apple -- including email, news sites, and of course, tech sites.

So... as I sit here, waiting for this thing to show up, I've been just browsing YouTube. You know what was really cool? The Darth Vader vs. Obi Wan lightsaber battle from Episode III.

Great way to pass the time.

Ehh.... In the middle of doing the find-a-firefox-extension-that-refreshes-the-quicktime-link-every-second thingy, my computer frozeded. I had to put it down the hard way, and now when I try to turn it back on, the hard drives makes some (horrable and quite annoying) screeching noises... I hope Steve (the name for my curent computer) doesn't die.... and I wanted to watch this in HD....

Wouldn't it be interesting (and sad) if you're computer named Steve and Steve Jobs the person die at the same time? Here's hoping they didn't announce the death of Steve Jobs at this year's keynote.

All kidding aside, I'm also hoping that both Steve the computer and Steve Jobs the person are functioning well before the next keynote. For now I'm just carefully watching some of the old Apple product announcements for my reality distortion field fix. My favorite has to be "Look at this mouse, it's the most wonderful mouse you've ever used." I still have one of those puck(ing) mice around the house, I swap it out with the mouse on the downstairs desktop as punishment when the little one gets a little rough with the peripherals. I'm a cruel person...
