i just found this site today. OS X FAQ
there are probably a few of you who know about this site, but there a probably quite a few others like me who had no idea about it. it has about 75 things you can do in terminal. just stupid little tricks...😀

there are a few funny tricks, and a few sort of usefull ones. i haven't tried any myself yet.

i just tried vm_stat to see the virtual memory usage.
i've got 579688 translation faults!! is this normal??

i shouldn't have touched terminal, now i'm starting to worry myself...
