Hi, I have an Older Apple Ipod USB Power Adapter that works fine with my IPOD Shuffle. The model number is A1102 W005A050.

I'd like to know if this power adapter will work with an Apple Ipod Touch which I plan on buying shortly.

If it's the official Apple one and, like you said, USB, then it'll definitely work. I use my Apple USB adapter that I've had nearly 3 years to charge my touch.
