WWDC Keynote Starting Soon, Grand Central Banners

Apple's 2009 WWDC Keynote is going to start soon. Here's a photo from one of the banners from the second level of Moscone which reads:
Quote:
Threading has left the station.
Grand Central Dispatch
The banner is referring to a new feature in Snow Leopard that will allow developers to more easily support multi-core processors for improved performance on the Mac.

We're providing live coverage for the event at MacRumorsLive.com and all traffic from MacRumors.com will redirect to that page when the time comes.

Look at that Silver Quicktime Icon!

I REALLY hope Snow Leopard has the new Marble user interface! Pleaase Apple! Windows 7 has really stepped it up in the visuals department, Apple needs to maintain its lead!

Wow, that would be crazy. Why else would they have June 19 on there rather than June 8 (date of the keynote).

June 19th is when the Calendar first came out. Or something to that effect.

[edit] nevermind. Wrong date [/edit]

I can't imagine this will be anything too amazing, but we never know.

Upgraded iPhones: wonderful.
OSX: good.

However, we know what is coming, and it was all to be expected anyway. The iPhone wasn't going to remain a static piece of technology.

Apple Store is still up with an hour and a half left before the keynote. This isn't normal is it? (Assuming they are coming out with a new iphone)

Quicktime overlapping the iCal icon, and the Tools overlapping the iChat icon both mean something big.

I can't wait for this thing to start - even if it is Schiller!

Everyone remember last year when the MacRumorsLive Page got hacked and loads of posts about Steve Jobs dying etc...

Hope you've tightened security this time. LOL

Otherwise we may all go to Engadget again

http://thedigitallifestyle.tv/

The above site claims to be having a live video feed from the event. even though this isn't allowed.

How I read the clever wording on their site is that they will have a live video feed of their people talking about whats happening live but not video of the actual keynote.

You thoughts?

Hopefully today we will get a release date for 3.0 and Snow Leopard which both I'm looking forward too soooooooooo much

I will only get the iPhone 4G/Video/S only if the physical appearance is radically different and lots more features other than in 3.0.

Look at other phone manufacturers they bring out new phones but never of the same build. It gets a little boring just having a new back and bezel to the iPhone.

BUT FTW
