Seriously I just wanna shot somebody right now...

Here we are waiting patiently for months expecting Apple is going to pull the craziest rabbit outta the hat and they pull this Shiiit? Iphone 3GS.. SERIOUSLY!?

WHERE THE HELL IS THE UNIBODY IPHONE? I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS.

I don't know about you, but my iPhone 3G is unibody.
Just like the 3G S. You've got one (uni) piece of plastic with everything inside of it, and then a glass screen...

Who said it was going to be a unibody design? A mockup you found on the web?

It's not. It's an incremental update with a faster processor, magnetometer, and cheaper prices.

How does it not have a unibody? The back is a single piece? That's as much of a unibody as the Macbook Pros are.

What I mean is I wanted an Alu Iphone just like every other piece of hardware apple has been moving towards the Alu design.

Yet still the friggin Iphone is a piece of plastic.

cheaper prices my ass
its gonna cost me $500 if i want it
or i can get an 8gb 3g for $300
and I already have a 16gig 3g
quite the "upgrade pricing"

anyone who bought a 3g got screwed over

You wouldn't get any cell reception (or extremely poor) from a single piece Al case, that is why the original iPhone had the plastic bottom.

Oh, well you should have said that.

Never gonna happen. The original iPhone was less than 50% metal and even that much got in the way of the wireless signal. Going to plastic on the 3G helped it get a stronger cellular signal.

So there's no way that's coming back.
