Hi,

I am designing an iPhone game and want to also allow the player to save some game images as wallpaper onto their iPhone. I heard that we cannot do it because all images are in the sandbox and cannot be saved as iPhone wallpapers.

Can anyone confirm this or is there a way of doing this?

Thanks in advance,

Anne

Would taking screen shots of the application work? Or are you talking about other images?

I add these images in the Resources folder in Xcode.

I can save the image used in my app to Settings -> Wallpaper -> Camera Roll by calling UIImageWriteToSavedPhotosAlbum.
