Restoring to a new iPhone from an old iPod Touch...

Question: I'm getting a new 3GS (first iPhone, psyched) and have a ton of Notes on my current iPod touch, things I'd like to port over to the new iPhone when I get it. If I Restore from Backup and will it transfer all my notes over? Or do I need to go some other roundabout route?
