Upgrading from ATT Tilt to iPhone 3GS - Question?

I like to keep all current rate and data plan exactly the same (I have FAN Discount and on $99 2100 minutes/$30 unlimited data/$5 200 text Family plan). Short of popping out the SIM card from Tilt (HTC) and put it in the new iPhone 3GS, is it as straight forward as that? Does AT&T has to re-provision the process?

Curious, since I like to minimize my interaction with AT&T Rep, whenever I am dealing with them (if I can help it). Some of them are clueless and made mistakes doing simple swap process like this, and in the past, it requires a second and third calls to get it right.

I think you have to get an iPhone plan

Which is the same price as your unlimited data plan, drop that and add the iphone plan.
